The Sample Video Clips
Samples of Skills Videos
As seen on the GameFace Personal Web site
We surveyed college coaches, to find the site lines/angles they wanted to see when analyzing their own player’s skills/mechanics. As a result, our videos provide the views, of your skills/mechanics, that any coach or instructor needs to evaluate your performance and help improve your game. The angles used vary by position and are as follows:
- Outfielders are filmed from the front with a view of their throwing mechanics, how the ball is received and the footwork used in making the throw. The flight of the ball is not followed. Click to see Sample Outfield
- Middle Infielders and 3B are filmed at shortstop and from the front, from a position halfway between home and first with a view of their throwing mechanics, how the ball is received and the footwork used in making the throw. The flight of the ball is not followed. Click to see Sample Infielder
- 1B are filmed from in front, from home plate with a view of their throwing mechanics, how the ball is received, footwork used in making the throw and how they move back to the bag to receive a return throw while completing a 3-6-3 double play. The flight of the ball is not followed. Click to see Sample First Base
- Catchers are filmed from center field with a view of their throwing mechanics, how the ball is received and the footwork used in making the throw . Click to see Sample Catcher
- Pitchers are filmed from two angles. From behind, to see the movement of the ball and from the side to see mechanics (RHP are filmed from 3B and LHP are filmed from 1B). Clip to see Sample Pitcher
- Hitters are filmed from the side in a batting cage taking short toss from a coach. This provides him with additional swings after he has been evaluated on the field during batting practice and allows us to get more swings onto his video. Clip to see Sample Hitter
All filming will be done on the first day of the clinic, during the workout/evaluation sessions. No filming is done during games.
